Fiftieth Reunion Dinner
Photos
The main 50th reunion
event of Newport News High School’s Class of 1955 was
on October 8, 2005 at the Pavilion in the Newport News
City Park. The event began at 4:00 p.m. and ended at
10:00 p.m.. The feedback from class members was that they enjoyed the casual
atmosphere of the park setting and the opportunity to
mingle and talk with those they haven’t seen in so many
years.

A number of class members
brought their cameras and have supplied pictures for the Web site.
We also had disposable cameras on the tables for people to use as they
saw fit. We will be posting as many of these pictures as possible
as soon as we can get them all scanned, sized, compressed, etc.
For all of these photos, a
photo gallery feature of Microsoft's FrontPage software is being used.
Click on the thumbnail picture you want to see in the larger format.
If there are more thumbnail pictures in the specific gallery than will
fit across the page, a scroll triangle is provided to get to them.
Just click on it and the thumbnails will advance.
Because there are so many
pictures and dial-up connections are so slow, the pictures have been
spread to multiple pages to speed-up the download of information from
the Web site. A button link is provided at the bottom of the page
to get to these additional pictures.
