Meeting Notification, 2007 schedule, and
Lunch Bunch Photos
NNHS’55 Classmates,
Greetings from your Reunion Committee members!
We just want you to know that we have had
several meetings since our 50th grand
celebration and came to the conclusion that we
should have more opportunities for everyone to
get together before our next big gathering in
2010. So we have arranged to have a “Lunch
Bunch” the FIRST THURSDAY of each month.
We will be meeting at 11:00 a.m. at Angelo’s
Steak and Pancake House, 755 J.Clyde Morris
Blvd. (Route 17) about a half mile North of
Jefferson Avenue. We have a private dining
room, varied-choice menu (breakfast is served
all day), and reasonable prices. Everyone
orders individually from the menu. The dates we
have selected for 2007 are:
June 7, July 5, August
2, September 6, October 4, November 1, and
December 6.
We plan to carry
this over into 2008, so mark the first Thursday
of each month when you get your new calendar.
We hope that all of you who live in the area
will make this a part of your regular monthly
routine. For those of you who live outside of
the area, we thought that if you were aware of
the specific dates far enough in advance, you
could put them on your calendar and if you are
ever planning a trip back here, you might want
to make it at a time when you could join us for
lunch.
We are not required to have an exact count (as
with the big events) but it would be helpful to
have an approximation for our first meeting in
June. So if you do plan to come, just give a
quick e-mail to Jimmy Starboard at
JwstarbS@aol.com
or leave a message with Sue Hart Leary at
757-868-6169. Also, it’s OK to invite friends
from other classes as well. Of course, spouses
are always invited and encouraged to come.
Please plan to join us at these lunches. You
will enjoy seeing “old” classmates, reminiscing
about the good “old” days, looking at pictures
(yes, bring the old and new ones); we will have
a time to socialize before and after lunch. So
mark your calendars. Don’t let your Committee
members have all the fun----join us! You’ll be
glad you did and so will we!!
